NYE & NY, Ramsey & Hoboken. 31-12-2006 & 1-1-2007, Sun & Mon

Sunday was going to a Christian service and due to the late past few nights I began to nod off occassionally. It was so great to have Dave next to me, he would go about poking and kicking me discretely so as to allow for me not to nod off!

During the day we as a group prepped up some nibbles for the NYE celebrations. Ashley and I put togehter the chicken kebabs, Ashley also put together some sensational mini roll sandwiches, Dave created a Texan masterpiece with his stuffed Jalepenos and Marissa whipped up some unbelievable spinach dip.

A restuarant known as Lollas was our place of dining, where we had many… little things happening. Marissa was hoping out of the car and was holding onto the central column on the passenger side, not realising the door was open, as Ashley did not realise there was a hand there. Anyhow, Ashley shut her door and fortunately Marissa was wearing her gloves. By the end of the night there was no hugely obvious damage, possibly a minor bruise.

Also one of the guys in our group was just hanging out, consuming some Sangria and walking pass a metal wine cooler, knocking that made the entire restuarant of people pause, realise and clap. Man, the food was delicious but I kid you not the amount of food given per ’serving’ would have been adequate maybe for a kid aged 3.

After Lollas in Hoboken some of the group split to go to a pre booked party booked in NYC. Others gathered together at Marissa’s condo. The drinks were flowing, the patry bubbling and the vibe was… beautiful. The ladies were dressed fine for the evening too, mmm the Dipetrillo sisters, their cousin, and a couple of the friends at the condo were just simply breathtaking.

Delayed, I know, but:
I HOPE THE YEAR OF PAST WAS A BLAST AND THE YEAR TO COME LETS YOU ACHIEVE THE DREAMS AND HAVE A BUNCH OF FUN!
REGARDS TO 2006, BUT IT HAS NOW GONE. 2007, ALL THE BEST FOR IT BECAUSE HERE IT COMES.

Day 1 of 2007: Kick back relax and just go along for the ride, or so was the case for Tom, Dave, Scott, Ashley and I. Tom, Ashley, Scott and I all ended up in the Hot Tub with some cups of Eggnog spiked with Southern Comfort also making an appearance.

Dave and I ended up staying awake until 5am, but getting up everyone was a bit slower then normal (especially a certain person from NZ, who the previous night had thrown all my gear and myself out of the room I had tried to elect for my own for the night).

The evening was watching ‘Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind’ where at one stage Dave was snoozing off and I had been semi leaning over him a little but also Marissa had been doing the same on me, we were all just too lazy to move out of the position.
